I had such an amazing time while interning in London this past summer. From the new friends to the amazing sights of Europe, my time in London is unmatched by anything else. I was fortunate enough to be placed in an internship that matched my professional needs and desires to a T, as well as meet new coworkers that gave many suggestions of things to do and see in their home country. Beyond the outstanding professional experience, this program provided many travel opportunities that not many people are able to ever do in their lives. If I could go back I would do this program a 1000 times over and over again.

The summer I spent in London working for Ayming UK was one of the best summers of my life both for my personal and professional growth. I learned an immense amount about how to take risks and expand my horizons. My boss was wonderful and really worked to help me to become a better version of myself in the global business world. Finally I got to meet loads of new people from all over the United States and the world.

I was able not only to work in Madrid but also to integrate myself within the culture of Spain. I have learned an extensive amount from my trip abroad and will be able to use my experiences to enhance the work that I complete in the future. I wanted to be thrust into an environment that was different from what I was used to in America, to be able explore Spain and all it has to offer, to learn Spanish hands on, and work for a company that would give me meaningful and interesting work. Everything I wanted, I received and then some! I´m working on things that most interns only wish they could and that´s what makes me the most happy because I know that every single thing that I learn here will be what sets me apart from every one else when it comes to applying for full-time positions after I graduate.

My experience in this program was overwhelmingly positive. I had an incredibly fulfilling internship, and had countless life-changing experiences outside of the office, exploring the city of London and the surrounding cities and countries of Europe.

Interning at Euro-Funding gave me a whole new perspective on how the business world operates in a new country, and it demonstrated to me a completely new field of interest. My experience in London this past summer was incredible and it was all thanks to "The Global Internship" by We Find Group. I was placed in a company called Amey as a supply chain intern and was able to meet and interact with so many diverse and successful people there. This position allowed me to gain a more global mindset which is something that all employers are now looking for in a job candidate. Overall, this program allowed me to meet so many new people, expand on my professional skills, and see the world all at the same time. It was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity and I would encourage anyone to experience it for themselves.

This summer I believe has been a pivotal one for me. I think I have learned more about myself and what I want for my future more than I have in the 2 years I have been to college. Being in another country teaches you more about yourself, people around you and how to adapt to situations that you aren't necessarily comfortable in. You are taken out of your comfort zone by going into an internship and country almost blindsided but you learn how to figure out your situation and overcome challenges you probably never thought you were able to overcome. I would recommend this experience to anyone that is looking for an internship/ life changing experience.

My internship in London was an invaluable experience. I gained exposure to the consulting industry on an international level and was able to learn a lot about the ins and outs of the industry. Although the learning curve was a bit steep at first, I was able to absorb information quickly and by the end of the internship was confident in my abilities.

This summer has been the best of my life and has helped me grow so much both personally and professionally. I had the opportunity to immerse myself in Spanish culture, travel throughout Europe, gain valuable work experience, and see what it is like to live and work in another country -- something that I now definitely plan to pursue in the future. Being able to have this kind of experience while still in college was never a part of my plan, but is now something that I wouldn't give up for anything.

My favorite part of the experience was the fact that WFG really emphasized that we had a second home here in Madrid. Everyone was so welcoming which was extremely comforting as this was my first time traveling abroad.

I’ve enjoyed the whole experience; it’s not just going to work, it’s not just being put in a company. WFG coaches us throughout the process and makes sure we’re developing professionally as well as culturally.

Since this program is 8 weeks, it really allows someone to not only experience the culture, but also immerse themselves in the culture of the workplace. I think this is really important because it allows the student to open their mind and change their perspective on what a global workplace is actually like. In my time at Amey, I’ve met some incredible people that I know will have a positive impact on my professional career in the future.

Participating in an internship abroad was one of the greatest choices that I have made in college. Over the past 8 weeks I have been able to develop skills in an international business setting that simply can not be taught in a classroom. I was able to preform market analysis for my company as well as develop different marketing plans for them. "The Global Internship" by We Find Group team was amazing. They were always there to help out, and provided valuable coaching feedback regarding my internship.

From the minute I arrived in Madrid I felt so welcomed, and throughout the program, members of "The Global Internship" by We Find Group were there to support us and provide professional coaching. They really helped to make sure that Madrid felt like a home to us.

I think interning abroad is an experience everyone should have. Especially in London, every single language in the world is represented; it’s truly remarkable. Throughout the internship experience here in Europe, I worked with French colleagues and German colleagues and learned from everyone in the company. Furthermore, I learned things that I needed to know, from data integrity & database management to researching companies & clients. It was truly invaluable.

Each one of us has the task of expanding our horizons, and one of the best ways to do this is to travel abroad and discover other cultures and even other languages. This can be intimidating, but fortunately we don't have to do it alone. "The Global Internship" by We Find Group has proven themselves to be a phenomenal team that not only provided a relevant internship experience, but also took us in like family. After having made this trip, it's clear to me that I would not have had near the opportunities or support on this trip had I chosen an independent study instead. Thank you WFG!
